What is the difference between intravenous (IV) and oral supplements?
Unlike oral supplements, intravenous supplements are placed directly into your bloodstream, bypassing the digestion done by your gastrointestinal system. This provides faster absorption of the nutrients to the areas of the body that need them the most.
What is an intravenous catheter and how does it work?
An intravenous (IV) catheter is placed with a needle into one of the veins in your arm. This catheter makes it possible for us to connect a bag of IV fluids and to provide hydration and nutrient supplements directly into your bloodstream.
Where do you start the intravenous catheter?
The IV will be placed in a vein in one of your arms by one of our skilled Registered Nurses or Advanced Practice Registered Nurses.
Who would be starting my IV?
Either a Registered Nurse or an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will be walking you through the process and starting your IV
Will IV hydration with nutrient supplementation cure my ailments?
IV hydration therapy with nutrient supplementation is not a cure-all. It is meant to elevate your health and wellness journey along with your healthy lifestyle choices.
Can I make an appointment?
You are not required to make an appointment, but you can absolutely make an appointment with our online booking link. Walk-ins are always welcome.
Can I bring a friend with me to Vitality IV Infusion Lounge?
Absolutely, there is plenty of seating and friends are always welcome.
Is intravenous (IV) hydration and supplementation safe for everyone?
IV hydration and supplementation is safe for most people. One of our Advance Practice Registered Nurses will review your history and physical paperwork to ensure this is safe for you or your loved one.
Will I be sharing a room with other people I don’t know?
No, you will have the comfort of your own private room to relax and enjoy your time with us. While our VIP Member area is a shared area, there is plenty of space to feel roomy yet private.
